We have made the Best Small Shops competition 2020 shortlist!
Out of the thousands of entrants nationwide this year, only 30 shops have been shortlisted to be in for a chance to be named the Best Small Shop of 2020, a Runner Up or the Most Innovative Business During COVID-19.

We are super excited as we have been shortlisted for not 1 but 2 awards.

The Best Small Shops competition celebrates, not only the commitment and creativity of entrepreneurial independent retailers on the UK's High Streets but also, the central role independent retailers play in their local communities.
The retail landscape is constantly evolving, giving independent retailers challenges and opportunities to thrive in a unique way, offering customers specialist knowledge, products and customer service. The Best Small Shops competition gives us the chance to celebrate this unique industry and show consumers what makes these small shops just so special.

The Best Small Shops competition is in association with Maybe and https://www.indieretail.uk.

Independent retailers are the lifeblood of UK high streets, offering specialist products and services, knowledge and passion for their community.
Shopping at an independent retailer supports local traders and in turn, the local economy, enabling local businesses to prosper and grow.

DID YOU KNOW? For every £1 spent with a local, independent business, between 50p-70p circulates back into that local economy. Shopping online or in corporate, out of town retailers only generates around 5p back into the local community.

WE WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP….. expose us further by using any social media channel you prefer and tagging us here at Ruby and the Angel and tag Indie Retail UK and use the #BestSmallShops. Just say a little something about us, shopping in Suffolk or the wonderful village of Debenham. The more we shout about this the more our shop and our community thrives.
